Really nice place for breakfast/brunch. We had eggs florentine, full English vegetarian and meat one, Avocado on toast. We were seated upstairs and they turned the heater on for us which was kind.

Lovely atmosphere with innovative menu. My salmon with lentil and broccoli salad could easily have been served in a Routiers in Aix-en-Provence.

What a wonderful hidden place! Perfect place for a coffee and Breakfast/Lunch in Canterbury. The cafe was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated. Sitting area available at the front or a patio at the back, which it was very enjoyable with the good weather. The staff was very friendly and polite, and it was reasonably priced. The food was simply incredible, and it was confirmed by the team members that everything is locally sourced. 11/10 for our visit.

We came in for breakfast because this cafe has vegan options. I had the Vegetarian No. 35 breakfast and replaced the egg with tofu to make it vegan. The vegan sausages were lovely! When the breakfast came, the waiter made a point of telling me that the pot of butter was a non dairy spread that came with the slice of toast, which I really appreciated. I had read reviews saying they sometimes have vegan croissants, and luckily, they had one left. It wasn't listed on the table menus, so you have to ask. It was the most beautiful wholemeal blueberry vegan croissant. I was surprised at how flakey it was, considering it was a wholemeal version. Delicious! My husband ordered the Stack No. 35 breakfast bun, which he enjoyed. Two pots of English Breakfast tea later and we were full. The cafe is spacious inside and comfortable. I will definitely be coming again.

Cafe 35 is such a beautiful restaurant to sit and have lunch with friends and family. The staff are very friendly and the food is perfect especially if you just want some traditional English dishes like full English, pie and mash, eggs Benedict, ham, egg and chips, etc. All ingredients are locally sourced and much better quality than you’d get anywhere else. For visitors and locals it is perfect!! The coffee here, in my opinion, is thee best I’ve ever tasted and recently returning from a trip from Colombia and Peru, that should say enough! This cafe is my go to and they deliver every time on atmosphere, food and service. Do give this place a try if in Canterbury!! I’ll stop now as I could go on all day! Also they do events and have function rooms!
